Lisa Joyce

Partner | Attorney at Law
Lisa Joyce manages the probate coordination process for the Camp Lejeune Litigation.  A proud Navy Mom, Lisa considers representing the veterans who served our country and their families an immense privilege and honor. Lisa brings an estate planning and client service background to her mass tort practice. This unique combination of experiences allows Lisa to help her clients and their families navigate the probate process at all litigation stages and identify when a special needs trust may be appropriate at the settlement phase.

During Lisa’s 14 years in mass torts, she had the privilege to work for several prestigious litigation firms in Kansas City, managing mass tort inventories that spanned pharmaceutical, defective devices, and environmental injuries. Recently, Lisa had the unique experience of being part of the leadership team of a technology-driven legal services provider, where she served as a conduit between law firm clients and the company’s technology-enabled proprietary case management platform.

Lisa approaches mass tort client service with the understanding that the client trusts our firm and attorneys, whom they may never meet in person, to fight for compensation for their injuries. Each client deserves to be heard and informed about their claim at every stage of the litigation. Lisa strives to be accessible, communicative, and helpful to her clients.

She takes the time to thoroughly review her clients’ files to prepare for client conversations so she can guide the client through the next steps of their case.

Before attending law school, Lisa worked as a client service representative in the call center of a prominent Kansas City life insurance company. Lisa learned the importance of clear and consistent client communication in this role.

Life Beyond the Law

When not working, Lisa spends time with her family and pets. She and her husband Joel have four children, two rescued cats, and one rescued Great Dane.  She enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time outdoors.
