Robert L. Kinsman serves to bring large-scale results to a wide array of clients. Robert has been at the forefront of some of the most complex cases in the country. He plays a significant leadership role in each of his cases, whether through case investigation and development, science and expert development, bellwether selection, settlement negotiation and coordination, trial and trial preparation, or briefing case-defining motions and case management orders. His peers often see him as a multi-purpose, versatile advocate who is always ready to jump in to help on any task so that his clients are able to obtain a just and fair result. Robert’s recent appointments have been to the Executive Committee in the Camp Lejeune Water Litigation – EDNC 7:23-cv-00897; Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee as the Co-Chair of the Law & Briefing Committee in MDL 2846: In Re: Davol, Inc./C.R. Robert practices throughout the country litigating mass tort and complex litigation cases involving environmental disasters, defective products, and pharmaceuticals. His trial experience encompasses civil cases as well as felony criminal prosecutions. Along with developing and executing winning litigation strategies, Robert has managed some of the largest dockets of cases in the country from client sign-up through settlement. Because of Robert’s work and that of other firm members, tens of thousands of clients have entrusted Krause & Kinsman with their stories and scores of co-counsel and referral law firms have called the firm their partner.

Life Beyond the Law
Outside of the practice of law, Robert enjoys traveling and cooking with his beautiful wife (Ali) and daughters (Leighton and Scarlett). In college, Robert was close to transferring to culinary school. His favorite recipes center around flavorful pastas and perfectly grilled meats. Robert and his family call Puerto Rico home. They love all of natural beauty, vibrant culture, delicious cuisine, and friendly community that Puerto Rico offers.Sunscreen is a must!
